Server Rules

Global Rules

All rules outlined within the Gumby’s SMP Server are enforced at the discretion of the server's leadership team. While standard penalties for violations are provided for clarity and consistency, the server's staff reserves the right to apply varying levels of disciplinary action—including, but not limited to, warnings, temporary sanctions, or permanent removal from the server, through in game server ban, discord ban, blacklist, IP and Hardware IP Ban —based on the severity of the offense, the context of the violation, and the member’s prior history. By participating in this server, members acknowledge and accept that moderation decisions are final and may be adjusted as deemed appropriate by server administration. All rules within the Gumby’s SMP Server and within the affiliated discord server should be acknowledged and considered equal, resulting in equal punishment, in the event of a rule(s) violation, on both platforms.

  • Be Respectful and Courteous
    • Do not insult, harass, threaten, or bully other members. This includes any form of hate speech, discrimination, and or toxic behavior
  • No Inappropriate or Offensive Usernames, Nicknames, and or Profile Pictures
    • Usernames, Display Names, Avatars, or Custom Statuses must not contain offensive language, references to violence, drugs, sex, hate speech, or impersonation of staff.
  • No NSFW, Gore, or Shock Content
    • Posting, linking or referencing explicit images, videos, or disturbing content (including heavy gore, violence, or pornography) is strictly prohibited - this includes memes or “joke” content that follows in nature.
  • No DOX’ing, DDoS’ing, Sharing Personal Information or Threats of The Nature
  • Any form of DOX’ing (Sharing personal / private information without consent), DDoS attacks, threats, or discussion of how to conduct such attacks is strictly forbidden.

        • Sharing IP Addresses (Including your own)
        • Linking to tools or services used to conduct attacks
        • Threatening or joking about hacking or “leaking information”
  • No Raiding, Spamming, or Flooding Channels
    • Do not mass tag, spam messages, use loud / obnoxious formatting (e.g., all caps), or flood chats with nonsense.
      • Raiding or organizing spam attacks will result in swift action.
  • Correct Channel Usage
    • Follow the designated purpose of each channel. Avoid posting memes in general chat or support questions in off-topic channels.
  • No Personal Advertising or Other Server / Service Promotions
    • This includes posting server invites, IPs, Discord Links, referral codes, or any self-promotion without staff approval. (In the event that Spam promotion via DM’s is discovered, this will result in policy violation; DM’ing acquainted, familiar, or friendly users to YOU with other server information is permitted and will not be in violation of this policy)
  • No Exploits, Cheats, or Hacked Client Discussion
    • Do not discuss, promote, or link to Minecraft hacks, cheats, macros, or exploit tools - even “for fun” or “educational” purposes.
  • Follow Staff Instructions
    • If a staff member tells you to stop doing something, listen immediately. Do not argue in public or escalate the situation in any way shape or form.
      • If you feel you were and or are being treated unfairly, DM the staff team or submit a support ticket privately.
  • No Impersonation
    • Do not impersonate staff or other members in name, profile picture, or behavior.
  • Keep Voice Channels Clean
    • No Mic Spamming, Soundboard Spamming, Impersonatory Voice Changer Usage, or playing highly inappropriate music. Respect other users’ space.
  • No Sharing Malware, IP Loggers, or Dangerous Files
    • Sharing any file, link, or image with the intent to harm, scam, or compromise another user’s system is a Zero-Tolerance Offense.
  • Use Common Sense
    • Just because something isn’t explicitly listed above doesn’t mean it is allowed. Use good judgement. If in doubt, ask the staff.

The rules of Gumby’s SMP Discord Server exist to protect the community and her interests. By being here, you agree to follow them. Staff reserve the right to take appropriate action in unforeseen circumstances or edge cases not covered above.

Punishment appeals can be handled via the Support Ticket System contained within the Support Category. If you are submitting a claim and or ticket appeal in regard to another individual, please ensure that the in-game name and or discord handle of the individual in question is provided while creating your submission.

If you have a question concerning the nature or parameters of a specific rule, set of rules, or punishment(s), please seek support from a staff member. Please consider staff scheduling and responsibilities; acknowledge that all staff are engaged in multiple duties within the servers maintenance and may take an appropriate amount of time to respond to your query.
